Cheeky Wee Bargains and Perfect Pizza

I am always up for a cheeky wee bargain and they don't come much better than this. These cute little boards were found at the Dollar Spot in Target for a dollar each (obviously!). They are pretty useless for cutting on, but they make great pot stands and brighten up the kitchen!
I forgot to tell you about this fantastic pizza that Wee G brought home one night. He went out for veggie sushi one night when I couldn't be bothered cooking, but the sushi place had closed early and so he ventured in to a new pizza place called zpizza and came back with a gorgeous vegan pizza! I was a bit wary when I saw it as along with the mushrooms, peppers, tomato, onion and zucchini it looked like it had meat and cheese on it, but it was veggie burger and soy cheese :) All vegan and all delicious! Definitely one of the tastiest pizzas I've ever eaten! They have tons of locations so if there's one near you I would definitely advise trying out this pizza!

I've yet to find a pizza place that offers soy cheese... that would be too cool though. I love those little boards--so cute and fresh.

YES! I'm so excited! There's a zpizza in San Diego... a few of them. That looks amazing, that pizza!! YEAH!! Thanks for the head's up, S.V. And way to get the Target bargains there. I <3 TARGET!

I don't think we have a zpizza here, which is too bad because your pizza looks and sounds great! What a fun surprise that must have been.

Oh, and the boards are gorgeous. I recently saw some Isaac Mizrahi dishes at Target with bright colors and cool pictures of fruit, but they were definitely over-priced. I'll keep looking!

Great find at Target :) The boards are so bright and colorful. Mmmm, that pizza looks so good. I wish I could gobble some up right now. Sadly, there isn't a Zpizza in Illinois :(

I love the look of that pizza!!! I miss pizza. :( And we don't have any vegan pizza places here. Maybe I'll make some later this week or this weekend.

laura, I hope you find a pizza place with vegan cheese soon. If not you can always get a cheeseless pizza…they are still very yummy!

KleoPatra, you will need to try zpizza and let me know what you think! I <3 Target too…I am always in there! (It is only a 5 min walk from my house mind you!)

bazu, I am sure I saw those dishes in Target today. With pics of cherries, limes and lemons?! They are lovely! I am supposed to be getting rid of stuff not buying more, so I had to resist!

Emmy, hopefully they will open a zpizza in Illinois one day… Maybe if you email them and request it they might do it sooner…!! :)

Melody, I will need to check your blog after Monday and see how you got on with your pizza at the cafe. I am sure it will go down great as all your food looks so good!

The soy cheese isn't vegan. It has caisen.

I don't know about Zpizza in the UK but in the US Zpizza's "soy cheese" is not vegan. Casein is the third ingredient and the only soy in the ingredient list comes in the form of Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil.

The rest of the pizza is fine, just stay away from their imitation cheese.
